Flue for oil condensing boiler

Postby SteveStroud on Thu Mar 26, 2009 9:04 am

I am installing a high efficiency oil condensing boiler (Worcester Bosch Greenstar Camray 12/18 Utility)in an attached vented garage. I need a simple vertical flue directly from the boiler to a sloped, pan-tiled roof. I do not need the expensive room sealed flue kits that are offered with this. A conventional flue adaptor kit is available but what kind of conventional flue can I use- are plastic alternatives available? I know that condensate is slightly acidic but the flue gas temperature should not be that high with a condensing boiler.
