ravenheat 120t problem

hi all, having a problem with hot water on demand , the boiler will only fire when I turn the tap on almost fully , same with the shower , then after a few seconds it goes off. the heating's ok , fires up on the timer or with the on switch. could this be a pressure problem? any advice gratefully received.
