Megaflo good or bad ??

Postby Rhino on Wed Nov 12, 2008 8:45 pm

Mega flow - Good or Bad ?? We are about to renovate a bungalow, existing boiler not got suitable. We've been advised to go with a Mega Flow system, we have good water pressure. Any downsides, what do we need to be aware of ?? i am no plumber and don't want to be ripped off. It all sounds reasonable to us, we'll have 4 beds, 4 reception rooms. Any comments gladly received, thanks,
Rhino

Hi,
I am also interested to know what the benefits of a MegaFlo are, We struggle with NOT having great pressure in our on-suite shower and do not want to fit a pump as they are too noisy.
Can someone tell me if a Mega Flo cylinder will improve my pressure enough to keep the wife happy :-), As if I do not get enough pressure already she wants more ;-)
Sorry about that....
The shower is fed from a cold water tank in the loft and a hot water tank in the airing cupboard, the water is heated via a convection boiler that manages both central heating and hot water.

Also how difficult / easy is it to fit one, I am very handy with DIY so am not scared to try and fit one if its possible.
