MY OLD MAIN MEDWAY MULTIPOINT IS OVER 25YEARS OLD AND HAS WORKED PERFECTLY IN THIS TIME WITH ONLY COUPLE OF MINOR REPAIRS, BUT I THINK ITS ABOUT TO EXPIRE. I WAS LOOKING TO PURCHASE ANOTHER MAIN MULTIPOINT BUT AM UNSURE WETHER I WILL HAVE TO PURCHASE A NEW FLUE-KIT OR IF IT WILL FIT TO THE ORIGINAL FLUE. I KNOW THEY ARE NOT EXPENSIVE IT IS JUST BUT IT COULD BE A PAIN TO CHANGE A LITTLE ADVISE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKYOU.

A New Main Medway multipoint heater is available which uses the existing balanced flue mountings and flue it is a bit longer than your existing one and projects lower than the existing one ( I have the same one and mine is on the way out also) so some pipe alteration is required by the gas fitter. If you search on line for Main Gas Appliances you will find a brochure giving all the details I think the cost is around £300.00 plus fitting.
The Gas fitter I use quoted me £250.00 plus a £300.00 warm front grant which I was entitled to and installation would not take very long!
