Replacement of Potterton PrimaF boiler/old taps

Postby lesley.c on Thu Jan 21, 2010 12:01 pm

I am thinking of using the scrappage scheme to replace a Potterton PrimaF which I think has been installed 14 or so years ago. However, we have recently had a new bathroom and have low pressure taps, even though there is a Turner pump which is used for the shower.

If I had a new boiler (and which one of course is the next problem) I gather the condensing ones run on high pressure and my taps would then be defunct. But I'm wondering if the shower pump could be used for the bath and sink taps thus avoiding the need for new taps? There is also a cold water tap (running from the mains) in the loft room.

Would appreciate if anyone knows.

Thanks, Lesley :?:
