Plumbing in exotic locations!

Postby Jimbo on Sat Mar 29, 2008 1:06 pm

I was recently working in a night club doing the plumbing for a renovation project, I had to climb a ladder into the roof space several times and at the side of the ladder was a convenient hand rail going from floor to ceiling. It was only after I’d climbed the ladder half a dozen times that I noticed that this hand rail went into the roof space and was fastened securely with blocks of wood. The hatch was over the stage and the hand rail was fastened securely at the base into the stage, I also noticed that the hand rail was about 3” diameter and chrome plated – yes you guessed it, it was a pole dancer’s pole. I wonder what else besides my hand had been sliding up and down that pole :)
